Local transport
You can fly to Murcia-San Javier Airport (West side Mar Menor coast) from many European airports. To get the best information about Murcia-San Javier Airport arrival and departure flights (from/to any European Airport) click on:

- Do not fill up the page shown, but click on "Timetable" - left bar - to get information about existing flights during a week you choose.
- If you know the international code letters (three capital letters) of your departure airport write them (remenber, capital letters) in "from". If not click on the small icon  at the right side.
- A new window pops, "Location Lookup". Write your city, mark at the same time "both" (to get city and airports) and take note of the international code letters of the airport you wish (remember, three capital letters).
- Close the window and you will be in the previous window.
Write the three capital letters airport code in "From". Write MJV (Murcia-San Javier airport code) in "To". Mark, at the same time, the date and month of a week you like to fly. Mark also, if you like it, "Display direct and non-stop flights only".
- Click on "Search" to get the list of flights.
You have, also, many more flights from/to Alicante Airport (about 90-100 Km. drive to La Manga through the new motorway Alicante-Cartagena, linking to the motorway Cartagena-La Manga some few Km. before the arrival to Cartagena).
To get all the information about Alicante Airport departure and arrival flights (from/to any Airport) use, also, Amadeus net. Follow the same instructions as above but bear in mind that Alicante airport international code letters are ALC. Click on:

If you like to come by train, you must arrive at Cartagena Railway Station. Then you can take a bus to La Manga. The Bus Station is close to the Railway Station.
Open the next link to RENFE trains and select "Cartagena" in "Origin", please.
Then look for your most convenient Railway Station and repeat the operation, selecting that Station as "Origin" and selecting "Cartagena" as "Destination".

To come to La Manga by Bus from Centre of Spain (Madrid or intermediate Cities) or NorthEast Spain (Barcelona or intermediate Cities) click, please, on the next Alsa link and click again on "Routes and timetables" (fill up "departure, origin" only and "destination" -list of possible destinations- will come up shortly).
From Madrid (or intermediate City) select it as "Departure, Origin" and select La Manga del Mar Menor as "Destination".
From Barcelona (or intermediate City) select it as "Departure, Origin" and select Cartagena as "Destination". You can take a Bus to La Manga in the same Cartagena Bus Station.

Local Transport
Alsa runs also the local bus service in La Manga and Cabo de Palos. From Cabo de Palos to La Manga (and vice versa) during Summer you have buses every sixty minutes (24 hours a day) to Yacht Port Tomas Maestre and every two hours to Veneziola - La Manga end - (until 1 h. am) Friday and Saturday the service is reinforced. Plainly, the service is bad for the moment.
